It is essential that these developments are connected to the countryside, combining technology with agricultural materials and waste to generate energy, fertilisers or bioproducts. In this sense, the technologies presented for biogas plants, improvements in anaerobic digestion, waste management and optimisation of digesters are directly applicable in agricultural environments that generate biomass, manure, pruning waste, seeds, husks or organic by-products.
