The use of the thousands of tons of waste and by-products discarded by the Peruvian agro-industry to produce bioenergy (bio-oil and biochar) represent an option for the circular economy of the Peruvian agro-industry. This biomass has a net-zero CO2 balance. The CO2 emitted during the combustion of the biomass is equivalent to the CO2 absorbed by the original organic matter during the photosynthesis process.
