Desde aprox. hace 30 años que empezó la Agroindustria, la maquinaria sigue siendo importada, seguimos dependiendo de fuentes extranjeras en tecnología para la producción. Los túneles de congelamiento, de Suecia, Japón y China; las calibradoras de fruta, de Italia, Alemania y Francia; las líneas de empaque de arándanos, EE.UU, Nueva Zelanda y España; las enmalladoras, Italia y España; multicabezales, EE.UU, Italia y Japón, etc…, Siendo lo que fabricamos en el Perú fajas transportadoras y algunos periféricos.
Ya hemos aprendido a operar la maquinaria, hacerle mantenimiento y modificarla para adaptarla a las circunstancias. Tenemos los determinantes necesarios así como la demanda y el dominio de la fruta para empezar a desarrollar la tecnología. Lo que necesitamos es fortalecer la relación Empresa-Universidad y la inversión en el sector tecnológico para ser competitivos y empezar la producción nacional.

From approx. 30 years ago the Agro-industry began, the machinery continues to be imported, we continue to depend on foreign sources of technology for production. We have already learned to operate machinery, maintain it and modify it to adapt it to the circumstances. We have the necessary determinants as well as the demand and mastery of the fruit to start developing the technology. What we need is to strengthen the Company-University relationship and investment in the technology sector to be competitive and start national production.
